Calculation of Elastic Movements of the Cutting Technological System

This research is an attempt to present a theoretical method for calculating the elastic movements of an adaptive system in order to optimize the design of the developed system and to describe the behavior of the system under the effect of variable cutting forces for the purpose of achieving the greatest possible accuracy and productivity of processing carried by this system. During the calculation the task of estimating of the system rigidity was considered. The specified calculation is carried out by what so called displacement method, which helped in making necessary selection of influencing parameters of the system on its rigidity, during the stage of the system formation. Executed calculation shows that the greatest influence on rigidity of the system refers to the angular position of the rotary adjustable springs, quantity and thickness of springs, both adjustable and fixed.
